We chose The Lakes Village as our future home after obtaining many information packs from various Retirement Villages from Port Macquarie to Queensland Sunshine Coast as advertised in the Seniors Newspaper. We finally chose The Lakes for the following reasons:

• Proximity to the Nursing Home where Annette’s mother resides
• Central Location
• Features and designs of the villas, particularly The Albert and plans for the village as a whole.
• Cost comparability

Coming in early as we did, being only the second resident, we expected there to be some problems with the “brand new” villa. However the few which did occur were minor in nature and were promptly rectified by the management team, whose attention we commend.
